This class creates and reinforces foundational elements of mindfulness and meditative principles as established by the Mindful Awareness Research Institute at UCLA. Through direct experience, each student will better understand how to meditate, cultivate an individual practice, and gain appreciation for the benefits of practicing in community. All instruction is secular in nature. No faith will be harmed during the teaching of this course. All levels of experience are welcome.
