Group Therapy

Psychoanalytic Process Groups

Process groups offer a unique opportunity to explore emotional and relational patterns as they unfold in real time with others.

Unlike skills-based or topic-driven groups, process groups focus on the here-and-now interactions. Attention is given to emotional experience, implicit communication, moments of connection and distance, and the ways familiar relational patterns emerge.

My approach to group work is informed by modern psychoanalytic theory, relational psychotherapy, and a foundation in mindfulness-based awareness.

Process groups may be especially helpful for individuals who:

  • Want to experience themselves differently in relationship

  • Struggle with social anxiety and feeling known or understood by others.

  • Are curious about how they impact and are impacted by people

  • Seek depth, honesty, and meaningful engagement

Groups are ongoing and require a commitment to regular attendance. A preliminary individual consultation is required to assess fit and readiness.
